Dual-format recording

One take, two finished files.

The core of the app. Tap record once and CraftCam writes a vertical video and a wide video at the same moment, ready for TikTok and Reels on one side and YouTube on the other.

  • Full sensor, not a crop. Dual Frame records the camera's full 4:3 frame and cuts both formats from it, so the landscape is about 33% wider than a strip cut from a vertical video.
  • Frame-accurate and in sync. Both files start on the same frame and carry the same sound.
  • Rear or front camera. Dual Frame works with either, so selfie videos come out in both formats too.

Dual Frame

One lens, full sensor. Portrait and landscape are cut from the camera's full 4:3 frame. Works with the rear or the front camera.

Portrait on the 1× Wide lens and landscape on the 0.5× Ultra Wide, recording at the same time, for two genuinely different framings.

Front & Back

The rear camera films the scene while the front camera films you. Drag and pinch the picture-in-picture preview, or stack the two previews.

Dual Lens needs an iPhone with an Ultra Wide camera, and Dual Lens and Front & Back need an iPhone that can run two cameras at once. The app greys out any mode your phone can't run.

Built-in teleprompter PRO

Read it. Nail it in one.

Made for talking-head videos. Your script scrolls hands-free beside the lens, so you can keep eye contact and stop re-recording your lines.

  • Tune it to how you speak: scrolling speed, text size, text color, line spacing and a start delay.
  • Put it where you need it. Drag the corner to resize the prompter, and pause or restart at any time.
  • Mirror mode flips the text for reflective prompter rigs.
  • Never recorded. The script is only on your screen, not in your video.
